Application Process

A straightforward, transparent process from application to compute access.

The AGICY Research Grant application process is designed to be accessible and efficient. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year, with review cycles occurring quarterly (January, April, July, and October). To apply, submit a research proposal through our online portal that includes your research objectives, methodology, compute requirements, expected outcomes, and timeline. PhD applicants must include a letter of support from their doctoral supervisor. Postdoctoral applicants should provide their CV and publication list. Open-source applicants must link to their existing project repository and outline the open-source license they will use. Each proposal is reviewed by our Research Grant Committee, comprising AGICY researchers and external academic advisors. The committee evaluates proposals based on scientific merit, feasibility, potential impact, and alignment with AGICY's mission of democratising access to sovereign AI compute. Successful applicants are notified within 4 weeks of the review cycle deadline. Onboarding includes a technical orientation session, account provisioning, and an introductory call with your assigned support contact. Compute credits are immediately available upon onboarding completion.
