How we source, label, and correct claims
AGICY is a pre-construction project operator. Public pages mix live software (Copperway), planned campus figures, vendor claims, and modeled scenarios. This page is the label key those chips point at. A chip is not a guarantee of delivery.
Sourcing hierarchy
- Primary documents we can retrieve (vendor datasheets, statute, registry filings, our own YAML planning lock).
- Independent corroboration — a second source that is not a reprint of the first.
- Modeled arithmetic on locked inputs (fleet × tok/s, wall kW × PUE).
- Vendor marketing and press — labeled as such, never as AGICY lab output.
- Machine-generated live feeds and public-data audits — indicative, not certifications.
Dating
Figures carry an implicit “as of” the page date or the cited source date. Vendor peaks age quickly. If a page does not state a date, treat the figure as planning-state as of this methodology revision (24 Aug 2026), not as a live meter.
Live chips (homepage / hardware)
- VERIFIED— survived independent corroboration or a disconfirmation pass (two non-identical sources, or a primary document we can retrieve). Not merely “appeared in a source.” Still not a promise that the campus is live.
- ESTIMATE — third-party or analyst band (e.g. NVL72 purchase-price range). Reconfirm before procurement.
- DESIGN TARGET — intended path (PUE, COD, generation MW, seawater plant). Entities, permits, or counsel may change it. Displayed on chips as DESIGN TARGET; older copy may still say TARGET.
- MODELED — calculator or scenario output from locked inputs (CY meter, SC-36 blended, fuel €/kWh). Not a committed contract and not a live meter.
Inline stamps (technology / eval)
- DESIGN — engineering envelope (e.g. 8–10 kW Galaxy operating band), not a nameplate measurement on our floor.
- ASSUMPTION — management planning plug (1 Galaxy = 1 CY @ 300 tok/s). Stated so it cannot be read as vendor peak.
- WATCHLIST / WATCH — silicon or SKU on the technology committee queue. Not ordered. Not Phase 1 CapEx.
- RESEARCH — literature or fabric evaluation lane, not a live SKU.
- LOCK — management-locked planning figure in the business-plan spine (still not a delivery guarantee). Prefer DESIGN TARGET on public chips unless the page explicitly says LOCK.
When a label may apply
VERIFIED is reserved for facts that survive a second look. ESTIMATE is for ranges we did not measure. DESIGN TARGET is for the campus that is not built. MODELED is for arithmetic. ASSUMPTION is for a plug we chose. WATCHLIST is for hardware we have not bought. Mixing two unlabeled throughput figures (CY meter vs SC-36 vs vendor DeepSeek) is a methodology error — each figure must keep its basis.
AI-generated pages
Some public pages are machine-generated. The research live feed, GEMI record desk extracts, and public-data AI-readiness audits are produced by software from public sources. They are indicative drafts — not certifications, not legal determinations, and not a substitute for counsel. Marketing hubs and locked planning figures are human-edited against the YAML planning spine. We do not hide that distinction behind “may use AI.”
